From Gladys May Webster, written by Vivian Ray Lee Mother (Margaret), dark hair and green eyes, was brought up with cousins John, Dinah and Ettie Scott. John was married with son Maurice and a daughter Mabel. Both were very tall, white blonde with blue eyes. Ettie was possibly widowed in World War 1 and had one son Douglas who may have been born in 1914. Dinah had no kids even though she was married twice, the second time around 1940 to a chap called Monkhouse. Margaret was left money from an Uncle George Dodie (nickname), surname either Scott or Simms. She had some lovely things but once married Ernest made short shift of them and her money. Father (Ernest Hawthorne Woodhead) was a master cabinet maker. His first wife was an actress and his second domestic. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
