General Notes:
From Pat Beatty - Lavinia Maud was younger than Gladys but I don't know by how much. It couldn't be too much though because my mother used to date Laviana's fiances when she was busy with another one. She married Eric Lee (Leigh?) in Leicster about 1948 but they divorced. I don't know when. She moved to Calgary with her daughter Vivian about 1957 or 8. Vivian was about two. She then married a widower with 3 children and moved to Prince George, B.C. They had 3 children of their own, Kathy, Jean, and Joan. Her husbands name was "Bud" Boyden. I don't know what Bud stands for but I think his real name starts with S. He worked for the railroad and had other businesses. They split up in the late 60's and Lavinia moved back to Blackpool with the girls. In the mid 70's she moved back to Prince George with two of the girls. Vivian stayed behind. Lavinia died in Nov. 1976. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From Gladys May Webster, written by Vivian Ray Lee Lavinia Maud was born 23 June 1924. She had dark hair and blue eyes. She was the only one of the children with Ernest's features except that he had red hair. She was also shorter like him. He was about 5'5" while Margaret was about 5'0" when she died at 14 years ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------. From Louise Boyden 03/02/2012 My father, Lavinia Maud Woodhead's second husband, was Samuel Albert Boyden. His nickname was 'Bud' and most people called him that. It was a carry-over from his childhood when he was called 'Buddy'. When Lavinia and my father married, he worked for the CN ~ The Canadian National Railway as a Road-Master. After some years, he decided to go into business for himself and bought a convenience store with a gas station. It was some time later that he and Lavinia separated and eventually were divorced. Initially Lavinia went to England with my three younger sisters, Kathy, Jeannie and Joannie along with my step-sister, Vivien. Lavinia later returned to Canada to Prince George with only the 3 younger girls. Vivien stayed in England, married and eventually also returned to Canada with her husband and 2 teenage children.
Lavinia married Eric Lee about 1948 in Leicster.
Lavinia next married Samuel Albert "Bud" Boyden, son of Albert Edward Boyden and Lovinia Leah Hart. (Samuel Albert "Bud" Boyden was born on 7 Apr 1927 in Lousana, AB, CAN and died on 1 Jan 2012 in Princeton, BC, CAN.)
