Mary Louise Boyden
General Notes:
My father, Lavinia Maud Woodhead's second husband, was Samuel Albert Boyden. His nickname was 'Bud' and most people called him that. It was a carry-over from his childhood when he was called 'Buddy'. When Lavinia and my father married, he worked for the "CNR"- The Canadian National Railway as a Road-Master. After some years, he decided to go into business for himself and bought a convenience store with a gas station. It was some time later that he and Lavinia separated and eventually were divorced. Initially Lavinia went to England with my three younger sisters, Kathy, Jeannie and Joannie along with my step-sister, Vivien. Lavinia later returned to Canada to Prince George with only the 3 younger girls. Vivien stayed in England, married and eventually also returned to Canada with her husband and 2 teenage children.
